Numeracy Homework
Set –Tuesday 17th April 2012
Due – 15th May 2012
Design a game to help with practising an area of maths, e.g. times tables, shape, fractions, measure, time.
You should create a set of instructions to explain to others how to play.
The game might be a board game, a card game or something else of your own choice.
You will receive feedback from me and the other children in your class. It will be marked on its effectiveness to practise the area of maths chosen, appearance and how clear the instructions are.
If you need counters and dice then these can be provided – just ask!
If you would like to talk your idea through with me, then please feel free, but do not leave until the last minute!
Remember to read your instructions through carefully and try your game out at least once!
GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN!
BE CREATIVE AND IMAGINATIVE!
Year Four Homework - Romans
To compliment our work on the Romans, you should make something of your choice related to the Romans. It is not a written project and you are not expected to produce anything like the World War II project. You can choose to make something related to any area, for example clothing, soldiers, jewellery, homes or towns. You might like to create a poster, some jewellery or a model. It is entirely up to you!
Please bring it to school by Tuesday 22nd May 2012
